About the role:
Connect enterprise applications with agentic AI solutions: work with AI engineers to expose enterprise capabilities through secure APIs, build orchestration layers, and integrate AI agents with backend systems, databases and business services.
Key responsibilities:
- Understand existing Java enterprise applications, microservices, APIs and business workflows
- Develop and enhance Java Spring Boot microservices
- Expose enterprise capabilities through secure APIs for AI agents
- Integrate agentic AI solutions with backend applications, databases and business services
- Collaborate with AI engineers to build API orchestration layers and tool interfaces
- Develop integrations using Kafka and event-driven architecture patterns
- Contribute to system design and architecture discussions
- Support the scalability, security,
reliability and performance of AI-enabled systems
Required qualifications:
- 3 - 7 years of overall professional experience, including 1 - 3 years of directly relevant hands-on experience
- Solid Java and Spring Boot development skills with experience in microservices architecture
- Experience designing REST APIs, orchestration layers and enterprise integration patterns
- Working knowledge of Kafka and event-driven architectures
- Experience with PostgreSQL and/or Oracle
- Proficiency with Git and Docker
- Understanding of agentic AI, LLMs and AI workflows
Preferred qualifications:
- Exposure to LangGraph or LangChain
- Basic knowledge of Python and FastAPI
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Experience with AWS, Google Cloud or Azure
- Experience integrating enterprise applications with AI platforms
Interview process:
One interview round with Aptlogica, followed by one or two client interview rounds.
