About The Role We are seeking an experienced Backend Developer to join our fully remote team at Textellent, Inc. As a key member of our development team, you will be instrumental in designing and building scalable, high-performance backend systems that power our SMS marketing automation platform.

Your expertise will help us leverage AI-driven development practices to accelerate innovation, improve system efficiency, and deliver impactful features to our clients. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in backend development with a minimum of 4-7 years of professional experience.



You should have a proven track record working with Java and Spring Boot frameworks, along with expertise in SQL database design and optimization.

Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, SNS, and SQS, is essential. Familiarity or keen interest in AI-based development tools like GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, or Lovable will be highly valued. Excellent communication skills, a team-oriented mindset, and the ability to work effectively in a remote setting are critical for success in this role.

Responsibilities As a Backend Developer at Textellent, Inc., your responsibilities will include:

- Developing and maintaining robust backend functionalities using Java and Spring Boot frameworks to ensure scalable and reliable system performance.
- Designing, implementing, and optimizing relational databases with SQL to support application features and data integrity.
- Deploying, managing, and monitoring applications on AWS cloud infrastructure, including services like EC2, S3, RDS, SNS, and SQS.
- Implementing continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines utilizing tools such as GitHub and Jenkins to streamline development workflows.
- Utilizing AI-assisted development tools to enhance coding efficiency,



automate testing processes, and accelerate delivery cycles.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and frontend developers, to deliver high-quality, impactful features that meet business needs.
- Participating in code reviews, troubleshooting, and optimizing existing systems to ensure high performance and security standards.
