We are seeking a highly skilled Java Developer with strong experience in Microservices, Spring Boot, Java 8, and API development. The ideal candidate will also have working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable, and reliable Java applications in a cloud environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable, high-performance, and secure Java applications using Microservices architecture.
- Implement and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless integration with various applications.
- Utilize Spring Boot for efficient and modular application development.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using Java 8 and above.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
- Leverage Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services for deploying and managing applications.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in a timely manner.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to enhance development processes.
Required Skills:
- Java 8 and above: Strong experience in core Java development.
- Microservices: Proven expertise in developing microservices-based architectures.
- Spring Boot: Hands-on experience with Spring Boot for building Java applications.
- API Development: Extensive experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs.
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP): Familiarity with GCP services and deployment.
- Version Control: Proficiency in using Git for version control.
- Problem-Solving: Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Communication: Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
- Knowledge of containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and practices.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
