Job Summary

We are looking for a Software Engineer II with 6+ years of relevant hands-on experience in Java backend development to design, build, and support scalable enterprise applications. The role requires practical experience with Java, Spring Boot, cloud platforms, databases, integrations, CI/CD, Agile delivery, and AI-assisted engineering tools.

Internally, this position is titled as Software Engineer II.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based enterprise applications using Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices.
- Develop and support cloud-enabled applications on AWS and Google Cloud Platform.
- Build and maintain integrations using Web Services, Oracle Service Bus, XML, XSL/XSLT, and FTL.
- Work with Oracle, MySQL, and Microsoft SQL Server for application development, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Support CI/CD pipelines, automation scripts, deployments, troubleshooting, and production issue resolution.
- Collaborate with product, QA, DevOps, architecture, and business stakeholders in an Agile delivery environment.
- Demonstrate the ability to work on multiple applications and priorities in parallel, while maintaining delivery quality, responsiveness, and explicit communication.




- Use AI-assisted tools such as GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, and Gemini Code Assist to improve productivity, quality, testing, and documentation.

Key Skills

- Backend Engineering: Java 1.8+, J2EE, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices.
- Cloud and DevOps: AWS, Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based application support (GCP good to have).
- Database: Oracle, MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, SQL development, query optimization, and performance tuning.
