Technical Leadership

- Lead end-to-end design and development of microservices-based applications using Java/Spring Boot.
- Define architecture, standards, and best practices for API management and integration.
- Provide mentorship to development teams and conduct code reviews.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

API Management

- Design, publish, and manage APIs using platforms such as:
- Apigee, MuleSoft, Azure API Management, Kong, AWS API Gateway, etc.
- Implement API governance policies including:
- Security (OAuth 2.0, JWT, API keys)
- Rate limiting, throttling, caching
- Ensure API lifecycle management (design build deploy versioning decommission).

Microservices Architecture

- Develop microservices using:
- Spring Boot, Spring Cloud
- Implement service discovery, circuit breakers, and resilience patterns.
- Design RESTful APIs and event-driven architectures.
- Work with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).

Cloud & DevOps

- Design and deploy applications on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Work with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
- Implement infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation).
- Ensure observability using tools like:
- Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk

Performance & Security





- Optimize applications for scalability and performance.
- Implement secure coding practices and API security standards.
- Conduct performance tuning and debugging.

Collaboration & Delivery

- Work with cross-functional teams (QA, DevOps, Product).
- Ensure agile delivery practices (Scrum/Kanban).
- Drive technical discussions with clients and stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Core Technical Skills

- Strong expertise in:
- Java 8+, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud

- Experience in Microservices Architecture
- Hands-on experience in API Management platforms
- Strong knowledge of RESTful services and API design

Integration & Messaging

- Experience with messaging systems:
- Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ
- Understanding of event-driven architecture

Cloud & Containerization

- Experience with:
- AWS / Azure / GCP
- Docker, Kubernetes

API Security

- OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT
- SSL/TLS, API gateway security

DevOps Tools

- CI/CD (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
- Git-based version control

Database Knowledge

- RDBMS (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra)

Valuable-to-Have Skills

- Experience with:

- Service mesh (Istio)

- GraphQL APIs

- Serverless architecture
