Role Description The Japanese Interpreter role is a part-time, in office position based in Navi Mumbai. The interpreter will provide real-time interpretation between Japanese and English during meetings, presentations, calls, and client interactions.

Daily tasks include accurately conveying spoken information, supporting written communication when needed, and clarifying nuanced meanings to ensure mutual understanding. The role involves collaborating with internal teams and clients,



preparing for assignments by reviewing relevant materials, and maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.

Qualifications

- Strong Japanese and English language proficiency, including excellent listening, speaking, and comprehension skills.
- Demonstrated experience in interpretation or translation, preferably in business or corporate environments.
- Ability to convey tone, intent, and cultural nuances accurately and neutrally.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with diverse stakeholders.
- Attention to detail, strong concentration, and the ability to work accurately under time constraints.
- Familiarity with basic IT tools (email, video conferencing platforms, office productivity software).
- Prior experience in media, IT, or language services sectors is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Japanese language, linguistics, or a related field is preferred.
