Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive IT Tester to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing web and mobile applications, identifying bugs, and ensuring the final product meets quality standards. You will work closely with the development and project management teams to deliver stable, high-performing, and user-friendly digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct manual testing of web, mobile, and software applications to identify bugs, usability issues, and performance bottlenecks.
- Prepare and execute test cases, test plans, and regression checklists.
- Perform functional, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce, isolate, and verify bug fixes.
- Ensure testing covers all requirements and follows defined QA standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation of test results, issue logs, and QA reports.
- Support cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure consistent performance.
- Participate in sprint planning and provide QA input in Agile environments.
- Validate API responses, workflows, and backend logic using tools like Postman.
- Work with automation teams (if applicable) to identify areas suitable for automation.

Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- 2 to 3 years of experience in manual testing (web or mobile applications).




- Strong understanding of software testing lifecycle (STLC) and defect lifecycle.
- Experience in test management tools (Jira, Zoho Projects, Trello, etc.).
- Familiarity with Postman for API testing and validation.
- Good knowledge of cross-browser, cross-platform, and responsive testing.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology and sprint-based testing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

- Basic understanding of automation tools like Selenium or Cypress.
- Knowledge of Shopify, ecommerce platforms, or SaaS product testing.
- Experience with SQL for backend data verification.
- Familiarity with performance or security testing tools (e.g., JMeter, OWASP ZAP).
