The role

We are looking for an IT Support Engineer with at least one year of experience to provide day-to-day technical support to our team and maintain the company’s IT systems, hardware, software and network. You should be a confident troubleshooter who can resolve issues independently.

Responsibilities

- Provide first-level support for hardware, software and network issues
- Install, configure and maintain computers, laptops, printers, scanners and other equipment

- Troubleshoot operating system, application, hardware and connectivity problems
- Manage email accounts, user accounts, system access and permissions
- Support the LAN, Wi-Fi, routers and switches

- Handle software installation, updates, antivirus and routine system maintenance
- Run data backups and apply basic security and cybersecurity practices
- Manage the employee biometric attendance system: enrolment,



access and troubleshooting

- Maintain records of IT assets, plus documentation, issue logs and service records
- Monitor equipment and flag anything needing preventive maintenance or replacement
- Coordinate with external IT vendors and service providers

- Support video conferencing, meeting rooms and other office IT needs

Required skills

- 1+ years in IT support, technical support or system support
- Good knowledge of Windows, MS Office, hardware and networking

- Working understanding of LAN, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routers and switches
- Hands-on troubleshooting of desktops, laptops, printers and peripherals
- Basic knowledge of cybersecurity, antivirus and backup practices

- Clear communication and a helpful approach to supporting colleagues
- Good documentation and problem-solving habits

Good to have

- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics or a related field

- Experience in an engineering, manufacturing or technology company
- Basic Linux, server administration, cloud or virtualisation experience
