Role Description:

The Tactical & Operational Procurement Specialist is responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities for IT-related categories, including hardware and software. The role ensures timely sourcing, procurement compliance, vendor management, contract negotiations, and purchase order execution while adhering to internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Role & responsibilities:

- Independent execution of tactical and operational procurement processes for the IT categories (hardware/software).
- Ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and internal procurement policies, in particular in the context of Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) and DORA,



in close coordination with the responsible business.
- Converting demand specifications into purchase requisitions and purchase orders in order to ensure timely availability.
- Independent execution of quotation requests, tenders, as well as price and contract negotiations within the tactical/operational procurement process, including drafting of contracts.
- Execution of the complete purchase order process (creation, tracking and maintenance of order confirmations, goods receipt checks) to ensure timely availability, as well as handling of performance issues in the procurement process.
- Assumption and execution of general administrative tasks to support business and operational processes.

Preferred candidate profile:

- Completed university degree with a focus on Business Administration or a comparable commercial qualification with advanced further training.
- Excellent written and spoken English skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the procurement application landscape (e.g. SAP MM, SRM, MS Office, Coupa).
- Good interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
- Structured and reliable execution style.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changing requirements and category priorities.
- Proactive mindset and strong ownership for assigned tasks
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in an international team workplace

Experience & Qualifications

- Degree in Business Administration or a comparable commercial qualification with advanced further training or a related field.
- Relevant experience in sourcing, procurement, tactical/operational buying.
- Exposure to IT-related or globally managed indirect categories is an advantage.
- Exposure to regulated environments or TPRM / DORA-related contract work is an advantage.
- Strong operational and problem-solving skills.
