Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Manager – IPQA to lead In-Process Quality Assurance activities at our formulation manufacturing facility.

The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that manufacturing operations comply with GMP/cGMP, SOPs, quality systems and regulatory requirements, while effectively managing IPQA activities on the shop floor.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and supervise IPQA activities for formulation manufacturing operations.
- Ensure compliance with GMP/cGMP, SOPs and quality standards.
- Monitor and perform in-process checks and line clearance.
- Review BMR/BPR and other batch manufacturing documentation.
- Support batch review and batch release activities.
- Handle and review Deviation, OOS, OOT, CAPA and Change Control.
- Coordinate activities related to process validation and cleaning validation.
- Ensure proper implementation of quality systems on the manufacturing floor.
- Participate in internal, customer and regulatory audits/inspections.
- Support preparation and review of PQR/APQR.
- Support investigation of product complaints and quality-related issues.




- Ensure compliance with data integrity and documentation requirements.
- Conduct GMP and quality-related training for Production and QA personnel.
- Lead, mentor and develop the IPQA team.
- Coordinate effectively with Production, QC, Engineering and other cross-functional teams.

Candidate Profile

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry or a related field.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in QA/IPQA within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong experience in formulation manufacturing is essential.
- Hands-on experience in shop-floor IPQA activities.
- Good knowledge of GMP/cGMP and pharmaceutical quality systems.
- Robust exposure to BMR/BPR review, line clearance and in-process checks.
- Experience in Deviation, OOS/OOT, CAPA and Change Control.
- Exposure to validation and audit activities.
- Strong documentation, communication and team-management skills.
- Candidates who can join at short notice will be preferred.
