Team Pumpkin is a growing integrated communications and digital marketing agency, working with brands across diverse sectors. As part of our next phase of growth, we are launching a dedicated Capital Market Communications vertical to help companies build, manage, and strengthen their communication with investors and the broader financial ecosystem.

We are looking for an experienced Investor Relations (IR) / Capital Market Communications professional who can build this vertical and work closely with companies, founders, CXOs, investment bankers, financial advisors, analysts, investors, and media.

Role Overview The candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic Investor Relations and Capital Market Communication programs for clients, particularly companies preparing for or navigating capital-market events such as IPOs, fundraising, listing, quarterly results, corporate developments, and ongoing investor communication .

The role requires a strong understanding of financial markets, corporate communication, business storytelling, and the ability to translate complex financial and business information into clear, credible, and compelling communication.

Key Responsibilities 1. Investor Relations Capital Market Communication

- Develop and execute comprehensive IR and capital-market communication strategies for clients.
- Build communication frameworks for companies preparing for IPOs, fundraising, listing, or other capital-market activities.
- Develop investor communication narratives aligned with business strategy and financial performance.
- Support clients in strengthening their visibility and credibility within the investor ecosystem.
- Develop communication plans around key corporate announcements, business milestones, strategic initiatives, and financial developments.

2. IPO Pre-IPO Communication

- Support clients during various stages of the IPO journey, including pre-IPO positioning and post-listing communication.
- Develop communication narratives around IPO announcements, DRHP/RHP-related communication, listing, business outlook, growth story, and market positioning.
- Work closely with investment bankers, legal advisors, financial advisors, and other stakeholders involved in the IPO process.
- Ensure communication is accurate, compliant, consistent, and aligned with publicly available information.
- Develop communication materials including key messaging documents, FAQs,



talking points, leadership briefs, presentations, and media narratives.

3. Financial Corporate Communication

- Understand and interpret financial results, annual reports, investor presentations, business updates, and other corporate disclosures.
- Convert complex financial information into simple, effective communication for investors and stakeholders.
- Develop quarterly results communication strategies and supporting materials.
- Prepare management talking points, QA documents, investor FAQs, and communication briefs.
- Track and analyse company performance, industry trends, peer activity, and market developments.

4. Stakeholder Investor Engagement

- Develop and maintain relationships with relevant financial journalists, business media, analysts, investors, and market stakeholders.
- Support CXOs and senior leadership in investor-facing communication.
- Prepare leadership teams for media and investor interactions.
- Coordinate investor/analyst interactions, meetings, conference participation, and relevant engagements.
- Monitor stakeholder sentiment and identify communication opportunities and potential risks.

5. Content Thought Leadership

- Develop high-quality financial and corporate communication content.
- Create thought-leadership opportunities for founders, CEOs, CFOs, and senior leadership.
- Develop articles, opinion pieces, interviews, investor narratives, corporate profiles, and other communication assets.
- Identify opportunities to position clients as credible voices within their respective sectors.

6. Media Relations

- Build relationships with business, financial, capital-market, and sector-specific media.
- Develop and execute targeted media outreach strategies.
- Identify relevant opportunities across financial and business publications.
- Coordinate interviews, interactions, announcements, and media briefings involving senior leadership.

7. Research Market Intelligence

- Track capital-market trends, IPO activity, fundraising activity, sector developments, competitor communication, and investor sentiment.
- Conduct competitor and peer benchmarking.
- Monitor relevant regulatory, market, and industry developments.
- Provide strategic insights to clients based on market intelligence.

8. Client Management





- Act as a strategic communication partner to clients.
- Manage multiple client mandates and communication calendars.
- Lead client meetings and present communication strategies and recommendations.
- Work closely with internal PR, content, social media, creative, and digital teams to deliver integrated communication programs.
- Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of client mandates.

We are looking for someone who can build the Capital Market Communications practice , rather than only execute predefined PR mandates.

The ideal candidate should be able to understand a companys business and financial story, identify the right investor and stakeholder narrative, advise senior leadership, and translate that narrative into effective communication across media and capital-market channels.

The candidate should demonstrate a combination of financial understanding + strategic communication + media relations + client management .
