We are hiring an Investment Banking Analyst for our client. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and analytically driven recent graduate to kick-start their career in investment banking, working closely with experienced professionals on high-impact financial transactions and advisory projects.

Role & responsibilities

- Assist in building financial models (DCF, LBO, comparable company analysis, precedent transactions)
- Support the preparation of pitch books, information memorandums, and client presentations
- Conduct industry research, market analysis, and company valuations
- Assist senior bankers in due diligence for M&A;, IPOs, and fundraising deals
- Analyze financial statements and prepare summary reports for internal and client use
- Track market trends, deal activity, and competitor movements
- Support deal execution processes including documentation and coordination with stakeholders
- Prepare accurate and well-formatted Excel models and PowerPoint presentations
- Coordinate with legal, compliance, and other internal teams during transactions




- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial data with discretion

Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, Business Administration, or related field (MBA/CA/CFA preferred but not mandatory)
- Robust understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and corporate finance
- Proficiency in Excel (financial modeling, formulas, pivot tables)
- Good knowledge of PowerPoint for creating client-ready presentations
- Basic understanding of valuation methods (DCF, comparable companies, precedent transactions)
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and numerical skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy under tight deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- High level of integrity and professionalism when handling confidential information
