Role Overview

We are looking for an Inventory Planning & Control professional with strong hands-on experience in D2C Operations, Inventory Management, Commercial Analytics and Shrinkage Control.

The role will own end-to-end inventory accuracy and control across warehouses, stores, dark stores, offices/workplaces and other stock-holding locations.

The ideal candidate should be highly analytical but, more importantly, operations-driven and comfortable working on-ground to identify inventory gaps, investigate shortages and ensure every unit is accounted for.

Key Responsibilities

- Own end-to-end inventory planning, control, reconciliation and stock accuracy across multiple locations.
- Ensure zero unexplained inventory shortages across warehouses, stores, dark stores and workplaces.
- Monitor physical vs. system stock and investigate all inventory variances.
- Identify and control shrinkage, pilferage, damages, leakage, stock adjustments, returns and process gaps.
- Track inventory movement from warehouse dark store/store fulfilment customer.
- Conduct regular stock audits, cycle counts and physical inventory checks.
- Reconcile inventory across Uni-commerce, warehouses, marketplaces and internal systems.
- Analyse SKU, location and channel-level inventory performance.
- Monitor stock ageing, excess stock, dead stock, fast/slow-moving SKUs and stock-outs.
- Establish and strengthen inventory control processes, SOPs and audit mechanisms.
- Investigate root causes of discrepancies and drive corrective actions with Operations, Warehouse, Finance and E-commerce teams.
- Build MIS, commercial dashboards, exception reports and management reports using Advanced Excel and Power BI.
- Provide data-driven insights to improve inventory utilisation, reduce losses and optimise working capital.




- Ensure timely closure of all inventory discrepancies and maintain complete audit trails.

Candidate Requirements

- 4-7 years of hands-on D2C / E-commerce / Retail Operations experience.
- Strong practical experience in inventory operations and stock control.
- Experience handling inventory across warehouses, stores, dark stores or multiple locations.
- Advanced Excel Mandatory.
- Power BI Mandatory.
- Hands-on Uni-commerce experience – Mandatory.
- Strong understanding of inventory reconciliation, stock audits, shrinkage and inventory movement.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to work with large datasets and identify anomalies and trends.
- Strong ownership, attention to detail and execution ability.
- Candidates with only MIS/reporting experience and limited operational exposure will not be suitable.
