Role Overview The Inventory Manager will for the various hospitality properties (up-to totally 200 rooms/40 properties ) and warehouse ensure items are stored correctly, the correct quantity of items are ordered and delivered on time. The inventory manager will be responsible for the management of team members(upto 4 person) in order to full-fill the role.The inventor manager is required to coordinate vendors,caretakers and housekeepers, operation and project team members to ensure successful operation of new and hospitality properties.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end purchasing, stores, inventory and distribution operations across the central warehouse and multiple hospitality properties.
- Establish and review par levels and reorder levels using consumption, lead times, occupancy, ordering frequency and operational requirements.
- Source vendors; obtain and compare quotations, samples and specifications; negotiate commercial terms; and coordinate purchase orders and payments.
- Plan warehouse replenishment and property requirements to prevent avoidable stock-outs, excess inventory and delayed replacements.
- Control receiving, inward and outward entries, stock transfers, damages, wastage and adjustments with complete supporting documentation.




- Conduct physical stock counts, reconcile system and physical balances, investigate discrepancies and implement corrective controls.
- Plan property-wise picking, packing, labelling, dispatch and delivery, and resolve shortages, incorrect quantities and delivery variances.
- Prepare inventory and replacement reports and analyse unusual consumption, repeated shortages, pilferage indicators, vendor prices, damages, wastage and cost-saving opportunities.
- Complete inventory setup for new properties and manage SKU additions, deletions and modifications through approved sourcing, documentation and system-update processes.
- Drive continuous improvement in inventory controls, documentation standards, and operational processes to strengthen inventory accuracy across all properties.
- Create, document and improve inventory SOPs; train property and inventory teams; assign responsibilities; monitor performance; and ensure process compliance.

Key Requirements

- 5+ years of experience in purchasing, stores, inventory, materials management, warehouse operations, hospitality, retail or another multi-location operation.
- Willingness to relocate to Coorg, travel regularly between properties and use a valid two-wheeler or four-wheeler for work-related travel.
- Hands-on experience sourcing vendors,



comparing quotations, negotiating terms, raising purchase orders and following up on supplier commitments.
- Experience managing receiving, storage, issuing, inward and outward documentation, stock transfers and FIFO controls.
- Ability to establish and revise par levels and reorder levels using consumption, lead times and operational requirements.
- Hands-on experience conducting physical stock counts, inventory reconciliation, variance analysis and discrepancy resolution.
- Experience planning dispatch and coordinating the movement of inventory to multiple locations.
- Ability to analyse consumption, replacements, damages, wastage, inventory costs and vendor performance and take corrective action.
- Experience creating or materially improving inventory SOPs, checklists, controls and training processes.
- Working knowledge of inventory or ERP software and solid Microsoft Excel skills for tracking, reconciliation and reporting.
- Experience planning inventory readiness for a new property, store, branch or location.
- Proven ability to lead a small operational team, delegate responsibilities, monitor accuracy and address weak performance.
- Strong vendor and stakeholder coordination skills, with the ability to work across Operations, Finance, Projects and property teams.
