Inventory Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Inventory Manager with strong expertise in pharmaceutical warehousing and inventory management practices. The role focuses on designing and implementing stock norms, safety stock levels, Min–Max planning, and Reorder Point (ROP) models across warehouse nodes.

This position plays a critical role in ensuring stock availability while minimizing split orders, red orders, and inventory losses. The role also ensures strict adherence to replenishment processes, inventory documentation standards, reverse logistics management, and regulatory compliance.

- Team Management: Cross-functional coordination with warehouse and 3PL teams

Key Responsibilities 1. Inventory Operations Management

- Maintain high bin accuracy across all shifts
- Manage segregation and clearance of short and near-expiry stock
- Ensure daily blind cycle counts with proper RCA and CAPA; close variances within 24 hours
- Coordinate with procurement for timely replenishment
- Ensure bin refilling from bulk locations to picking bins
- Manage batch recalls, spurious drugs, sale closures, DPCO/R-status/banned products as directed
- Handle damaged, expired, and non-returnable products as per SOP and regulatory norms
- Conduct daily audits for short picks, not found cases,



and QA exceptions (B2B & B2C)
- Monitor packaging material stock, GRN posting, and consumption tracking
- Conduct periodic TMS studies of inventory
- Audit inward and outward movements on a sample basis

2. Systems & Process Governance

- Execute and maintain WMS hygiene and related systems
- Ensure readiness for safety, statutory, and compliance audits
- Maintain adherence to all inventory-related SOPs

3. Financial & Control Management

- Ensure NIL or minimal inventory damages
- Maintain daily productivity tracker and share management reports
- Prepare stock summaries and bin occupancy reports including SKU, batch, MRP, value, and quantity with pharma and OTC segregation
- Control inventory losses and shrinkage

4. People & Shift Management

- Conduct process and SOP training for warehouse and 3PL teams
- Ensure adherence to HSE norms
- Support manpower planning for shifts and public holidays
- Conduct shift-wise stand-up meetings to achieve operational goals
- Drive corrective actions to reduce attrition

5. MIS & Analytics

- Conduct ABC and FSN analysis and pick heat map analysis
- Publish daily audit reports with RCA and CAPA
- Maintain bin refilling tracker with batch and quantity details




- Track packaging material consumption and ensure 1-month safety stock
- Publish weekly GRN reports

Qualifications & Experience

Education

- Graduate / BE / MBA

- 6–8 years of experience in pharmaceutical warehouse and inventory management
