We are a medium-sized beauty and personal-care manufacturer with an established export presence across international markets. We are looking for an Assistant Manager – International Sales to manage and develop business across assigned countries and customers.

The position will report to the Manager – International Sales , who is responsible for the relevant region and its overall sales performance.

Key responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day business with existing distributors and customers in assigned countries.
- Work with the Manager – International Sales to achieve country-wise and customer-wise sales targets.
- Identify and approach new distributors, importers, wholesalers and other potential customers within the assigned markets.
- Conduct market research covering consumer preferences, competition, pricing, product opportunities and distribution channels.
- Prepare presentations, quotations, product proposals and commercial offers within approved guidelines.
- Follow up enquiries, samples and proposals to convert opportunities into confirmed orders.
- Coordinate product development, packaging, artworks, registrations,



production and dispatch requirements with internal teams.
- Track order execution, shipment schedules, customer payments and outstanding amounts.
- Maintain updated customer records, sales forecasts, chance pipelines and market reports.
- Support the Manager during international exhibitions, buyer meetings and overseas market visits.

Candidate profile

- Graduate in Commerce, Business Administration, Marketing, International Business or a related discipline.
- MBA/PGDM in Marketing, Sales or International Business preferred.
- 5–8 years of experience in international sales, export sales or overseas business development.
- Experience in beauty and personal care, cosmetics, fragrance, toiletries or FMCG is strongly preferred.
- Exposure to distributor-led international markets would be advantageous.
- Strong communication, follow-up, negotiation and relationship-management skills.
- Willingness to travel internationally as required.
