Role Objective

Lead end-to-end internal audit and consulting assignments for manufacturing entities with full ownership, effective control evaluation, and strong stakeholder communication

Responsibility Area

- Assignment Ownership: Audit planning, execution, supervision, reporting, and closure; risk-based audit programs

- Team Leadership: Supervision, review of working papers, on-site guidance to audit teams

- Stakeholder Management: Interaction with plant heads, HODs and management; opening and closing meetings, in between interaction and coordination

- Reporting C Follow-up: Concise but comprehensive audit reports; tracking and validation of action closure

- Travel : Travel to plants and site locations, as per assignment requirements

Core Competencies

- Internal Audit: Risk-based and Process based internal audit methodology

- Manufacturing : Hands-on plant-level audit experience

- Governance : Internal controls; COSO framework awareness

- Accounting: Working knowledge of Ind AS / Indian GAAP





- Regulations: Companies Act, 2013 (including IFC)

- Documentation: Strong audit documentation and reporting skills

- Management Skills : Solid multi-tasking skills essential, Should be able to handle at least 2 + assignments at a time

Qualifications

- Chartered Accountant / Cost Accountant

- 2-3 years for Assistant Manager and 3-5 years for Manager position (manufacturing and/or hospitality audit experience a plus and preferred)

- Multi-location and factory audits (mandatory)

- ERP (like SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards etc.) Functionality

- Team handling experience of at least 3 -4 team members (mix of qualified and semi qualified team members)

Preferred Candidate

- Strong written and verbal communication

- End-to-end accountability, aiming for timely assignment completion

- Analytical, control-focused approach
