Role Description The Internal Audit Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Surat. The role involves planning and executing internal audits across financial and operational processes, reviewing internal controls, and ensuring adherence to organizational policies and regulatory requirements.

The Internal Audit

Officer will prepare clear and comprehensive audit reports, identify control gaps and risk areas, and recommend practical improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing detailed testing of transactions, coordinating with cross-functional teams to obtain information, documenting audit findings,



and following up on the implementation of agreed action plans. The role also requires contributing to IT-related audits where relevant, supporting continuous improvement of audit methodologies, and maintaining accurate work papers and audit documentation.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong auditing skills, including experience with internal controls, risk assessment, and Auditing standards.
- Candidates should possess skills in preparing and reviewing Audit Reports, with the ability to present findings and recommendations clearly.
- Candidates should possess Audit skills to evaluate technology controls, data integrity, and system-related risks.
- Candidates should possess Finance knowledge and Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, identify trends, and support data-driven decisions.
- Relevant qualified qualifications such as Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), or equivalent are preferred.
- Experience in internal audit within professional services, financial services, or corporate environments is beneficial.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and within teams.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with audit tools or ERP systems is an advantage.
