As Software Test Automation Intern this role provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in software test automation, Python, Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), and automated functional and regression testing while working on real-world engineering projects. The ideal candidate should have strong programming fundamentals, an interest in software quality and automation, and a willingness to learn and work collaboratively with developers and senior test engineers.

How Youll Make an Impact

- Design, develop, and execute automated test cases using Python
- Develop and maintain BDD-based test scenarios using Behave
- Execute functional and regression tests and analyze results
- Identify, document, and support resolution of software defects
- Investigate test failures and identify root causes
- Update and maintain automation scripts
- Collaborate with developers, senior testers, and engineering teams
- Learn and apply best practices in testing and automation

What you bring

- Programming: Python 3.x
- Test Automation: Selenium and automated functional and regression testing
- BDD: Understanding of BDD and Behave framework
- Software Fundamentals: OOP, Data Structures Algorithms
- Developer Tools: Git, GitHub, VS Code, Docker
- APIs Debugging: REST APIs, debugging and troubleshooting
- Strong programming and problem-solving skills
- Good understanding of Python fundamentals
- Interest in software testing and automation




- Basic understanding of REST APIs and debugging
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn current technologies
- Knowledge of C++ or Ruby is an added advantage
- Basic knowledge of Ruby
- Exposure to software development or test automation projects
- Familiarity with CI/CD concepts

Education

Candidates should be pursuing the final year of a bachelor s or master s degree in computer science engineering, Electronics Communication Engineering, Electrical Electronics Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
