Role Description The Intern ML role at PPStack is a full-time remote position focused on supporting the design, development, and evaluation of machine learning solutions for education and career-focused products. Day-to-day responsibilities include collecting and preprocessing data, implementing and experimenting with ML models, and assisting in building AI-powered features for learning platforms and analytics tools.

The intern collaborates with mentors and cross-functional teams to prototype models, analyze performance metrics, document findings, and contribute to research in learning technologies. The role also involves working with engineering teams to integrate models into production workflows, preparing clear reports and presentations,



and continuously learning new ML techniques relevant to EdTech and digital career solutions.

Qualifications

- Robust foundation in machine learning and data science, including familiarity with supervised and unsupervised learning, model evaluation, and basic statistical concepts.
- Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in ML (e.g., Python) and experience with core libraries or frameworks such as NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
- Skills in data handling, including data collection, cleaning, preprocessing, feature engineering, and working with structured and unstructured datasets.
- Understanding of algorithms and computer science fundamentals, such as data structures, complexity, and basic software engineering practices (version control, testing).
- Ability to conduct research, read and interpret technical papers, experiment with new approaches, and document results clearly and systematically.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and an interest in applying ML to real-world education and career problems.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate in remote, cross-functional teams and present technical insights in accessible language.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, Engineering, or a related field; prior project or internship experience in ML or AI is a plus.
