About the Role

Gujarat Accelerate is looking for a proactive and organized intern to design and run a simple, consistent engagement mechanism for its portfolio companies. The intern will be the primary driver of community-building activities that help portfolio companies connect with peers, access relevant experts and resources, and identify business opportunities within the network. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role suited to someone who enjoys community management, event coordination, and building lightweight systems/processes from scratch.

Key Responsibilities

- WhatsApp Community Management
- Actively manage the Gujarat Accelerate Portfolio WhatsApp community
- Create and maintain an engagement calendar
- Drive regular interactions, peer-to-peer connects, resource sharing, and relevant opportunity postings
- Masterclasses
- Identify relevant topics based on portfolio growth needs and emerging trends • Build and maintain a masterclass calendar
- Identify and coordinate with speakers/subject-matter experts
- Create a simple, reusable session format and communication SOP
- Portfolio Mixers / Coffee Meetups
- Organize city-wise meetups to bring portfolio companies together
- Track meetup cadence and participation data
- Continuously improve the format based on feedback and turnout
- Job Fair / Talent Connect




- Capture hiring requirements from portfolio companies
- Support coordination of job fairs and talent-connect initiatives
- Track hiring needs and outcomes
- Buyer–Seller Connect
- Create and maintain a simple directory of products/services bought and sold within the portfolio • Identify potential buyer-seller matches
- Establish a process for facilitating and tracking these connections

Skills & Attributes Required

- Strong organizational and coordination skills; comfortable managing multiple ongoing activities
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable using WhatsApp, spreadsheets, and basic tracking/reporting tools
- Self-starter with the ability to build simple processes and SOPs from scratch
- Interest in startups, entrepreneurship, or the Gujarat business ecosystem is a plus
- Willingness to travel within Gujarat for meetups/events as needed

Eligibility

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a graduate/postgraduate degree (management, business, or related field preferred)
- Prior experience in community management, event coordination, or startup ecosystem support is a plus but not mandatory

Duration & Engagement Duration:

6 months (September 2026 – February 2027)
