About the Role:
We are looking for an Intern to work closely with the Founder and team across client engagements and internal initiatives.
- Work with the team across live M&A;, fundraising and strategic finance engagements
- Conduct company, industry and transaction research
- Assist with financial analysis, financial models and preparation of client and transaction materials
- Research potential investors, strategic buyers, acquisition targets and other relevant opportunities
- Support business development, including identifying prospective clients and preparing outreach materials
- Assist in developing presentations, proposals, credentials and other company materials
- Contribute to Findesq's marketing and content initiatives
- Work closely with the Founder and team across ongoing business and internal initiatives
Who we are looking for:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Commerce or a related field
- Strong interest in corporate finance, M&A;, investing and businesses
- Good understanding of financial statements and basic corporate finance concepts
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
- Robust written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail, willingness to learn and a proactive approach to work
- Comfortable working across different assignments and taking ownership of allocated work
- Prior internship experience in finance, consulting, investment banking or a related field is helpful but not mandatory.
