2D Game Artist - Generalist (0-2 years experience)
ROLE SUMMARY:
As a 2D Generalist Artist at NukeBox Studios, you will create 2D game art assets that bring our games to life, including creating engaging visuals for marketing creatives, app store assets and promotional videos. You will collaborate with designers, developers, and artists to enhance player experiences and engagement. This role is ideal for someone passionate about gaming, creativity, and visual storytelling, with a willingness to learn across both game art and marketing design.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Produce polished artwork aligned with the game's art style.
● Create marketing creatives, social posts, app store assets, and promotional videos.
● Iterate on assets based on feedback, ensuring quality and visual consistency.
● Stay updated with game art trends and leverage AI tools to improve creativity and production.
REQUIREMENTS:
● Bachelor's degree in Design, Animation, Fine Arts, Multimedia, or a related field.
● Solid grasp in composition, color theory, lighting, perspective, and visual hierarchy.
● Proficiency in Photoshop and After Effects along with familiarity in Illustrator, Premiere Pro and other design tools.
● Detail-oriented, adaptable and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
● Passion for mobile games with strong communication and collaboration skills.
● Portfolio demonstrating design, motion graphics and gaming art projects.
