– Site Coordinator (Interior Projects)

Location: Surat, Gujarat

Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹25,000 per month

About the Role

We are looking for a Site Coordinator – Interior Projects to manage and coordinate the interior execution work of our unit in Surat. The ideal candidate should have practical knowledge of interior works, site execution, BOQs, measurements, materials, contractors, and day-to-day site coordination.

The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the interior work is executed as per the approved drawings, BOQ, specifications, quality standards, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

- Interior Site Execution

Coordinate and monitor day-to-day interior work at the project site.

Supervise execution of civil, carpentry, false ceiling, flooring, electrical, plumbing, painting, furniture and other interior works.

Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, designs, specifications and timelines.

Regularly inspect the site and identify execution issues, discrepancies or delays.

Coordinate with contractors, vendors, technicians and workers for smooth execution.

- BOQ & Measurement

Understand and work with BOQs (Bill of Quantities) in detail.

Verify quantities mentioned in BOQs against actual site requirements.

Take and verify site measurements.

Track material consumption and identify any quantity variation.

Check work completed against BOQ quantities before submitting measurements for billing.

Assist in preparing quantity estimates and material requirements.

- Vendor & Contractor Coordination

Coordinate with interior contractors, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, painters and other agencies.

Follow up on material deliveries and ensure timely availability at site.





Coordinate with vendors regarding specifications, quantities, quality and delivery schedules.

Maintain proper records of vendor/contractor work and site progress.

Escalate delays, quality issues or material shortages to management.

- Material Management

Monitor incoming materials at the site.

Check materials against required specifications and quantities.

Maintain basic material inward/outward and consumption records.

Ensure proper storage and handling of materials at the site.

Inform management about material shortages or additional requirements in advance.

- Quality & Progress Monitoring

Monitor the quality of workmanship and ensure proper execution.

Track daily/weekly project progress against timelines.

Identify delays and coordinate with concerned contractors to resolve them.

Ensure proper finishing and attention to detail across all interior works.

Prepare regular site progress updates for management.

- Documentation & Reporting

Maintain site-related documentation, measurements, BOQs, work orders and material records.

Prepare daily/weekly site progress reports.

Maintain photographs/videos of work progress wherever required.

Record site issues, pending activities and completed works.

Coordinate with management/design teams regarding changes or additional requirements.

Basic MS Excel knowledge for BOQ, measurements and reporting

Ability to work independently at the project site

Strong attention to detail

Eligibility

Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Construction Management or a related field will be preferred.

2-5 years of relevant experience in interior execution/site coordination.

Candidates with strong practical site experience may also be considered irrespective of formal qualification.

Immediate joiners preferred.

- Candidates must be willing to work from the Surat project site.

Compensation

₹15,000 – ₹25,000 per month, depending on relevant experience, technical knowledge and site execution capabilities.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is hands-on, technically sound and comfortable being on-site, rather than someone who only has theoretical knowledge. The candidate should be capable of independently coordinating day-to-day interior activities, understanding BOQs and measurements, following up with contractors/vendors, and reporting actual site progress to management.
