Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in Pune City.

The Interior

Designer will develop creative design concepts for urban apartments, with a focus on maximizing space through smart furniture and efficient layouts. Day-to-day responsibilities include space planning, preparing mood boards and detailed design presentations, coordinating with the SpaceMax Design Studio and manufacturing teams, and translating client needs into practical, visually appealing interior solutions. The role involves creating and reviewing drawings, selecting materials and finishes, and specifying furniture, fixtures,



and equipment to align with the SpaceMax brand.

The Interior

Designer will also participate in client meetings, site visits, and quality checks to ensure designs are executed accurately and meet safety and usability standards.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated skills in Space Planning and Interior Design to create efficient, aesthetically coherent layouts for compact urban homes.
- Knowledge of Architecture and Construction Drawings to develop, read, and coordinate technical documentation with project and manufacturing teams.
- Experience with FF&E; (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) selection, including materials, finishes, and smart furniture solutions that align with design and budget requirements.
- Proficiency in design and visualization software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar), and comfort working with technology-driven design tools and virtual reality environments.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, with prior experience in residential or apartment interior projects preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines on-site in Pune City.
- Understanding of current interior design trends, ergonomic principles, and basic building codes and safety standards relevant to interior fit-outs.
