Neo Homes is an interior design and modular furniture company based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. We're looking for a passionate Design Intern to join our growing team and gain hands-on experience in residential and commercial interior design projects.

About the Role

We are looking for a creative, confident and well-organized Interior Designer + Operations Executive to join our team. The role involves a combination of interior/modular furniture design, client handling, showroom management and day-to-day operations.

The candidate should be comfortable working with clients, understanding their requirements, taking site measurements, preparing 2D/3D designs and drawings, coordinating with the execution team, and ensuring smooth project and showroom operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle clients visiting the showroom.
- Take accurate site measurements and understand site conditions.
- Prepare 2D layouts, plans, elevations and detailed drawings.
- Create 3D designs and presentations as per client requirements.
- Work proficiently with AutoCAD and relevant 3D design software.
- Develop designs based on space, functionality, aesthetics and client requirements.
- Discuss designs with clients and make revisions based on their feedback.




- Prepare drawings and details required for production and execution.
- Coordinate with clients, production teams, vendors, contractors and installation teams.
- Coordinate site visits, measurements, deliveries and installations.
- Handle day-to-day showroom and operational activities.

Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD
- Good knowledge of 2D & 3D designing
- Ability to take accurate site measurements
- Understanding of modular furniture and interior execution
- Knowledge of furniture layouts, materials, finishes and hardware
- Good client communication and presentation skills
- Robust coordination and follow-up skills
- Good organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Willingness to travel for site visits when required
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently

Qualification & Experience
- Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Furniture Design or a related field
- 1–3 years of relevant experience preferred
- Experience in modular kitchens, wardrobes, furniture or interior execution will be an advantage.
- Experience in client handling and showroom sales will be an added advantage.
