Job Title: Interior Design Intern

Location: Thane, Maharashtra

We are looking for a creative and motivated Interior Design Intern to assist our design team in developing residential, commercial, and turnkey interior projects. The intern will gain practical exposure to design development, drawings, material selection, site coordination, and project execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist senior interior designers in developing concept designs and design proposals.
- Prepare and modify 2D drawings, furniture layouts, elevations, sections, and working drawings.
- Assist in creating 3D models and interior visualizations using software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and rendering tools.
- Assist with material, colour, texture, furniture, lighting, and finish selections.
- Prepare mood boards, material boards, presentations, and design documentation.
- Visit project sites and assist with site measurements and documentation.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and site teams under the guidance of senior designers.
- Assist in checking site execution as per approved drawings and design specifications.
- Support preparation of BOQs, material specifications, and project-related documents.




- Research new materials, furniture, finishes, design trends, and interior solutions.
- Maintain proper records of drawings, revisions, materials, and project information.
- Perform other design and project-related tasks assigned by the senior designer.

Skills & Requirements
- Pursuing or recently completed a Diploma/Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, MS Office, and presentation software.
- Good understanding of space planning, materials, colours, furniture, and interior finishes.
- Creative thinking and attention to detail.
- Positive communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and participate in site visits and project execution.
- Ability to work within project timelines and follow instructions from senior team members.

Learning & Exposure During the internship, the candidate will receive practical exposure to:

Concept Design → Space Planning → 2D Drawings → 3D Visualization → Material Selection → BOQ → Site Coordination → Execution → Project Completion

Pay: ₹5,000.00 - ₹8,000.00 per month
