JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer with 1–5 years of hands-on experience in concept design, 2D/3D space planning, and modular interiors.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for understanding client requirements, developing functional and aesthetically appealing design concepts, creating 2D layouts and 3D visualizations, and preparing technical design documentation. The role involves working closely with production, vendor management, project management, and site execution teams to successfully deliver residential and commercial interior projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Concept Development & Space Planning

- Develop interior design concepts, mood boards, material palettes, and colour schemes based on client requirements and current design trends.
- Prepare detailed space plans, layout options, and 2D working drawings using AutoCAD.
- Develop functional and aesthetically balanced designs based on space, budget, and client requirements.

3D Visualization & Renderings

- Create high-quality 3D visualizations and interior models using SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, Blender, Enscape, or Lumion.
- Develop realistic design presentations to help clients visualize proposed spaces.
- Make design modifications based on client feedback and project requirements.

Modular Interior Design

- Design customized modular solutions including kitchens, wardrobes, storage units, TV units, false ceilings, and other interior elements.
- Ensure designs follow appropriate dimensions, ergonomics, functionality, and production standards.

Client Consultation & Presentation

- Understand client requirements, preferences, lifestyle needs, and design expectations.
- Conduct design presentations and effectively communicate concepts, layouts, materials, and finishes.
- Incorporate client feedback while maintaining design quality and project feasibility.
- Guide clients in selecting materials, laminates, acrylics, fabrics, lighting, hardware,



and other finishes.

Technical Documentation & BOQ Support

- Prepare detailed BOQs, project timelines, and technical design specifications.
- Prepare production drawings for factory-finished modular furniture and custom millwork.
- Ensure drawings and specifications are accurate and aligned with production and execution requirements.

Cross-functional Collaboration & Site Coordination

- Coordinate with vendor management, production, site engineers, and project management teams to ensure accurate execution of design concepts.
- Conduct periodic site visits to verify measurements, assess site readiness, and resolve design-related issues.
- Make necessary design modifications based on site conditions and execution requirements.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

Education

- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.

Experience

- 1–5 years of relevant experience in residential or commercial interior design and concept development.

Software Proficiency

- 2D/3D Design: AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, Enscape, or Lumion.
- Visuals & Layouts: Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, or MS Office.

Core Competencies

- Strong understanding of interior design aesthetics, colour theory, ergonomics, lighting design, and material finishes.
- Good knowledge of modular kitchen standards, wardrobe design, false ceiling details, and interior construction methods.
- Strong communication, presentation, and client-handling skills.
- Ability to understand client requirements and translate them into practical design solutions.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and changing project requirements.
