modelers are expected to assume multiple responsibilities: Work with a design team of 3D design artists, design engineers, and animators to conceptualize and create new models Create digital models with a detail-oriented emphasis on quality and realism Collaborate closely with the art director to create models and layouts that meet product design requirements Use software like Autodesk Maya, Houdini, and Photoshop to develop and refine 3D models Revise models according to feedback from the art director, sales team, and design team Communicate across multiple channels and teams,
and work collaboratively within the entire company Exercise diligent time management and prioritize projects and workflows to ensure all deadlines are met Job qualifications and skill sets Our ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and skills: Portfolio demonstrating solid 3D modeling skills Experience and proficiency with software such as 3DS Max, Maya, ZBrush, and Blender Experience with 3D printing and 3D scanning Understanding of digital sculpting tools Excellent attention to detail Strong communication skills Ability to work as a member of a team A bachelor’s degree or higher education certification in a field such as computer software, 3D art and animation, or 3D character design is highly encouraged.
