Role Description The Insurance Advisor role at Kotak Life Insurance Pvt. Ltd. is a part time remote position focused on helping clients identify suitable life insurance and financial protection solutions. On a day-to-day basis, the Insurance Advisor will communicate with prospective and existing clients, understand their financial goals and risk profiles, and recommend appropriate insurance products.

The role includes explaining policy features and benefits, assisting clients with application and documentation processes, and providing ongoing customer service and policy support.

The Insurance

Advisor will also maintain accurate records, follow up on leads,



support renewal and retention activities, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth customer experience.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge or demonstrated interest in Insurance and Finance, with the ability to understand and explain life insurance products and basic financial concepts.
- Experience or aptitude in Consulting, including needs assessment, solution recommendation, and building long-term advisory relationships.
- Proven Customer Service skills, with a client-focused approach and the ability to handle queries, concerns, and follow-ups professionally.
- Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and respectfully in remote interactions.
- Comfort working in a remote, target-driven environment, with strong time management, self-motivation, and basic digital literacy (video calls, CRM tools, email, and documentation).
- Prior experience in insurance sales, financial services, or advisory roles is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Minimum educational qualification: typically a bachelor’s degree in any discipline; relevant certifications in insurance or finance are beneficial.
