Manager – Inside Sales (School Cinema)

LXL Ideas is looking for an experienced Inside Sales Manager to lead the inside sales function for School Cinema, our Film Pedagogy and Human Capability Development programme working with schools across India and internationally.

Role summary

This role owns the inside sales pipeline end-to-end — lead qualification, structured follow-up, team coaching and closures — converting institutional opportunities into long-term school partnerships. This is a leadership and process role, not a telecalling function.

Key responsibilities

- Lead, manage and coach a team of inside sales executives against defined targets
- Build and maintain a disciplined, well-qualified sales pipeline
- Own lead qualification, follow-up cadence and closure processes
- Drive conversations with school leaders and institutional decision-makers to closure
- Set up and monitor CRM workflows, sales dashboards and performance metrics
- Report on pipeline health, conversion rates and team performance




- Bring consistency and predictability to monthly and quarterly sales numbers

What we require

- 7–8 years of experience in Inside Sales / B2B Sales, with at least 2–3 years managing a team
- Demonstrated experience building and scaling an inside sales process, not just executing one
- Robust command over lead qualification, pipeline management and closing techniques
- Excellent phone, presentation and negotiation skills
- Hands-on experience with CRM platforms, sales dashboards and performance reporting
- Proven ability to engage and influence senior institutional decision-makers (school leaders, principals, management)
- Prior exposure to Education, EdTech, SaaS, Publishing, Training or other B2B sectors preferred
