Preferred Education, Skills and Experience

Education Level: B.E. (Electronics & Communication OR IT) with 3-4 Years experience in Networking or Telecom.

Certification : Preferred to be CCNA certified or atleast CCNA Trained.

Experience: Networking knowledge / Telecom knowledge is preferred.

Responsible for the remote installation, configuration and testing of managed services equipment for current customers and replacement equipment for existing customers. Acts in compliance with industry and Company technical requirements, standards, policies and procedures. Works under general supervision and may require training and detailed instructions for assigned tasks.

Skills Required

- Good Communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in last mile access network and network elements routers
- Good understanding of telecom processes
- Basic understanding of telecom technologies such FTTB FTTN VDSL Copper GPON etc.
- Exposure of working on Provisioning configuration of Telecom services Readiness to work in shifts

- Experience in the design, configuration and telecom systems, hardware and software applications.
- Understanding of switching systems, cabling and fiber optics.
- Knowledge of network topology

- Cisco Platforms 78xx, 65xx, firewalls, routers,



switches would be added advantage
- LAN, WAN, WLAN infrastructures
- Protocols: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP, SMTP, NTP, SNMP, VoIP
- ATM, MPLS, Frame Relay, and Metro Ethernet

Responsibilities :
- Perform configuration, turn-up and testing of managed services equipment for day 1 (Service Delivery) customer installations and day 2 (Service Assurance) support of existing customers.

- Work with off-net providers to troubleshoot connectivity issues with circuits or vendor supplied Customer Premises Equipment (CPE).
- Use various software systems and applications to effectively troubleshoot issues and equipment relating to underlying network connectivity, as well as to identify configuration and other related issues with managed services equipment.
- Train and mentor supported teams.

- Collaborate with and foster relationships with internal and external customers.

Skills: ESM Network management Experience Required: 2-4
