We are looking for an experienced L2 and L3 Infoblox / DDI Subject Matter Expert to serve as the senior technical authority for enterprise-scale DNS, DHCP, and IPAM infrastructure.
This role acts as the primary bridge between operational support teams and Infoblox TAC/Engineering.
You will oversee complex troubleshooting, root-cause investigations, architectural configuration changes, major NIOS upgrades, and vendor escalations.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for network infrastructure management, including DHCP, DNS, and IP addressing.
- Troubleshoot issues related to network connectivity, routing, and protocols (TCP/IP).
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Infoblox.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues.
- Develop documentation for internal knowledge base on troubleshooting procedures.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 4-9 years of experience in Network Management or similar role.
- Robust understanding of networking fundamentals (OSI model) and TCP/IP protocol suite.
- Proficiency in Infoblox DNS/DHCP solutions; experience with SolarWinds monitoring tool a plus.
- In-depth understanding of DNS protocol internals (DNSSEC, Anycast, recursion vs iteration, zone transfers, RPZ, query forwarding rules).
- Advanced experience with DHCP failover protocols, option spaces (vendor-specific options, PXE/boot options), and automated IPAM workflows.
