Role & responsibilities

. This is essentially a Senior Tax Technology / Indirect Tax Transformation Manager role, with a strong focus on VAT + SAP + E-invoicing/E-reporting + global process ownership.

You are looking for someone who can run and improve global Tax processes using technology, rather than a traditional tax person who only does tax compliance.

Think of the profile as:

Indirect Tax/VAT expert + SAP expert + Tax Technology/Transformation project manager.

The person should be able to:

Understand VAT/Indirect Tax rules across multiple countries.

Know how VAT is actually configured and processed in SAP.

Identify tax-process problems and standardize/improve them globally.

Lead E-invoicing and E-reporting implementations.

Work with Tax, Finance, IT, P2P,



O2C and external technology vendors.

Translate tax requirements into technology/system changes.

Manage global projects involving multiple countries.

Use data/automation tools such as Power BI, PowerApps, Alteryx or AI useful, but secondary to the core VAT + SAP + transformation experience.

Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and local country teams.

The ideal profile in one line

10+ years of Indirect Tax/VAT experience + strong SAP tax configuration knowledge + global tax transformation/e-invoicing experience + robust stakeholder/project management skills.
