Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Induction Handler / Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will set up and operate induction heating equipment to treat metal parts according to customer and blueprint specifications. You will monitor temperature and frequency cycles, handle raw and processed materials, and ensure structural quality while adhering to strict industrial safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

- Equipment Operation: Set up, adjust, and safely operate induction hardening machines, scanners, and industrial induction furnaces.

- Process Configuration: Read work orders and engineering blueprints to determine the correct current frequency, heating time cycles, and specific induction coils required for each batch.

- Material Handling: Load raw metal workpieces into machine fixtures or furnaces, and safely unload finished parts using hoists, ladles, or automated controls.

- Quality Control: Inspect finished components visually and use micrometres or gauges to ensure they conform to exact depth, hardness, and dimension specifications.

- Monitoring & Calibration: Watch temperature gauges, fluid flows,



and metal color changes during the cycle; adjust power levels and water coolant flow to avoid warping or cracking.

- Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform routine machine maintenance, clean induction coils, change out fixtures, and report mechanical defects to the maintenance team.

- Documentation: Keep detailed and accurate production logs, recording quantities processed, temperature settings, and quality check metrics.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Experience: 1–3 years of experience operating heat-treating equipment or working in a metallurgy/foundry setting is highly preferred.

- Technical Literacy: Ability to read and interpret mechanical blue prints, process sheets, and technical work orders.

- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy metal components, stand for long intervals, and work comfortably in high-temperature production environments.

- Attention to Detail: Precision in adjusting micro-timers and power settings where small deviances can compromise metal structural integrity.

- Safety Mindset: Deep understanding of personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements for handling molten or high-heat metals.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
