We are looking for an experienced and skilled Indian Cook who can prepare a variety of authentic Indian dishes while maintaining high standards of taste, hygiene, and food quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare Indian vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes as per menu and requirements.
- Cook North Indian, South Indian and traditional Indian cuisine.
- Prepare breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and special meals.
- Ensure consistent taste, quality and presentation of food.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and cooking equipment.
- Check the freshness and quality of ingredients before cooking.
- Manage proper storage of food items and ingredients.
- Minimize food wastage and use ingredients efficiently.
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff for smooth daily operations.
- Maintain cleanliness of cooking utensils, workstations and kitchen areas.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of Indian cuisine and cooking techniques.
- Ability to prepare food according to customer/family requirements.
- Good understanding of spices, ingredients, and portion control.
- Knowledge of kitchen hygiene and food safety.
- Ability to work independently and manage kitchen responsibilities.
- Good time management and discipline.
Candidate Requirements
- Prior experience as an Indian Cook is preferred.
- Candidates with experience in households, hotels, restaurants, resorts or institutions can apply.
- Must be hardworking, reliable and well-mannered.
- Ability to prepare both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food will be an advantage.
Salary & Benefits
- Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹30,000 per month, depending on experience and skill
- Food and accommodation may be provided depending on the job location.
