We are looking for an In-Process Quality Inspector to check machined components during production and ensure each machine follows the approved control card.

Responsibilities

- Measure first-off and in-process parts at the frequency specified in the control card.
- Check dimensions using vernier calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, thread gauges and other relevant instruments.
- Record actual readings clearly in inspection records.
- Verify that operators are following the required inspection frequency and control-card instructions.
- Stop and segregate suspect parts when a dimension is out of tolerance, and immediately inform production and quality supervisors.
- Support tool-offset corrections and restart checks after adjustments.




- Maintain traceability of inspected and rejected parts across shifts.

Requirements

- Experience inspecting CNC-turned or VMC-machined components.
- Ability to read engineering drawings, tolerances and control cards.
- Practical knowledge of measuring instruments and in-process inspection.
- Careful record keeping and confidence to report quality problems promptly.
