Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced AHP Incharge to manage and supervise the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and overall performance of the Ash Handling Plant (AHP) at the Nabha Power Limited project.

Key Responsibilities

- Overall responsibility for AHP operation and maintenance activities.
- Ensure smooth and reliable operation of the complete Ash Handling System.
- Supervise operation and maintenance of bottom ash, fly ash, ash slurry, ash evacuation and associated systems.
- Monitor equipment performance and ensure timely preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Troubleshoot equipment failures and coordinate with maintenance teams for quick restoration.
- Prepare and monitor preventive maintenance schedules and ensure timely execution.
- Ensure proper manpower deployment and allocation of work within the AHP department.
- Monitor daily equipment parameters, log sheets, operational records and maintenance reports.
- Coordinate with CHP, Boiler, Electrical, C&I; and other departments for smooth plant operation.
- Ensure availability of critical spares, tools and consumables required for AHP maintenance.
- Identify recurring equipment problems and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure compliance with plant safety procedures, SOPs, PTW and statutory requirements.




- Conduct toolbox talks and ensure safe working practices within the AHP area.
- Maintain proper documentation of breakdowns, maintenance activities and equipment history.
- Coordinate with the client/site management for operational and maintenance requirements.
- Ensure achievement of plant availability, reliability and maintenance targets.

Technical Knowledge Required

Candidates must have strong practical knowledge of Ash Handling Plant systems, including:

- Bottom Ash Handling System
- Fly Ash Handling System
- Ash Slurry System
- Ash Water System
- Vacuum/Pressure Ash Handling Systems
- Ash Slurry Pumps and associated equipment
- Conveyors, crushers and associated ash-handling equipment
- Valves, pipelines and hydraulic/pneumatic systems
- Preventive and breakdown maintenance
- Equipment troubleshooting and root-cause analysis

CHP (Coal Handling Plant) knowledge will be an added advantage.

Desired Candidate Profile

- B.E./Diploma holder with 8–12 years of relevant experience in thermal power plants.
- Strong hands-on experience in AHP operation and maintenance.
- Candidates with experience in large-capacity thermal power plants will be preferred.
- Positive leadership, manpower management and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with client and cross-functional teams.
- Willing to work at Nabha Power Limited, Punjab.
