- Manage end-to-end import operations from purchase or order confirmation through shipment arrival and final clearance.
- Handle and review import documentation
- Coordinate with overseas suppliers regarding shipment schedules, documentation, and delivery timelines.
- Coordinate with Customs Brokers or Clearing & Forwarding Agents or Freight Forwarders for smooth customs clearance.
- Track shipments from origin to destination and ensure timely clearance and delivery.
- Ensure compliance with applicable customs, import regulations, and trade documentation requirements.
- Monitor customs duties, freight charges, port charges, demurrage, detention, and other import-related costs.
- Coordinate with Finance/Accounts for import payments, supplier payments, duty payments, and documentation.
- Maintain accurate records of import shipments and documentation.
- Monitor pending shipments, customs clearance status, and delivery schedules.
- Resolve shipment, documentation, customs, and logistics-related issues.
- Negotiate and coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, clearing agents, and other service providers.
- Prepare import-related MIS and management reports.




- 10–12 years of overall experience in Imports or International Trade
- Minimum 6–7 years of managerial or team-handling experience.
- Robust experience in end-to-end import operations and documentation.
- Experience in trading, manufacturing, commodities, or import-oriented organizations is preferred.
- African imports or Africa-related international trade experience will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
