Role Description-

The Import Export Specialist will manage end-to-end import and export operations for agro-commodities, ensuring smooth, timely, and compliant movement of goods. The role involves coordinating with suppliers, buyers, customs brokers, logistics partners and other stakeholders, while managing trade documentation, shipment tracking, customs processes, contracts, and operational issues.

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end import/export shipments, from documentation to delivery.

Coordinate with suppliers, buyers, customs agents, freight forwarders, and logistics partners.

Ensure accurate trade documentation and compliance with international trade regulations and Incoterms.

Track shipments, resolve delays or operational issues, and maintain accurate records.





Support contract execution, logistics cost optimization, and process improvements.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in import/export or international trade operations.

Strong understanding of trade documentation, Incoterms, customs, and logistics processes.

Experience handling import/export shipments of agro-commodities such as spices, pulses, rice, or similar products is a strong plus.

Solid attention to detail, organizational, communication, and coordination skills.

Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with ERP/logistics systems.

Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Logistics, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Good English communication skills; knowledge of local languages is an advantage.
