Role Description This is a full-time, in office role based in Ahmedabad for an Import Export Documentation (Customs Clearance / Freight Forwarding) professional. The role involves preparing, verifying, and submitting import and export documentation, including invoices, packing lists, shipping bills, bills of entry, and other statutory forms. The team member coordinates with customs authorities, freight forwarders, transporters, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely clearance and movement of shipments by air, sea, and land.

Daily tasks include tracking consignments, maintaining accurate records, updating clients on shipment status, and ensuring adherence to current customs regulations and international trade compliance requirements.



The role also supports tariff classification, duty calculation, and resolution of documentation or clearance issues, while maintaining high standards of customer service and operational accuracy.

Qualifications experience : Min 4 years

- Candidates should possess strong Import and Export handling skills, with hands-on experience in documentation, customs procedures, and shipment coordination.
- Candidates should possess Import Export and International Trade knowledge, including familiarity with Incoterms, trade regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with clients, authorities, and logistics partners and manage expectations professionally.
- Candidates should possess basic computer proficiency, including MS Office and email correspondence, and the ability to work with ERP or logistics management systems.
- Relevant experience in customs clearance, freight forwarding, or CHA operations is highly beneficial.
- Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines are required.
- A diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain, commerce, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand relevant regulatory circulars and adapt quickly to changing compliance requirements.
