We import 1000 products in the houseware category from China. Since it takes 30 days for stock to arrive from China, we need a smart Purchase Team Member who can manage inventory properly and ensure zero stock-outs.
Key Responsibilities
- Stock Monitoring: Daily tracking of which items are going out-of-stock and which are in-stock
- Fast & Slow Moving Analysis: Maintain data on quick-moving and slow-moving products
- Demand Planning: Plan in advance which products will have higher demand in which month (Seasonality planning)
- Ordering: Place orders with China suppliers on time to avoid any stock-outs
- Must be strong in Excel & Inventory Management
Requirements
- Minimum 1 Year of experience in Purchase / Inventory / Stock Planning
- Experience in Houseware, Homeware, General Trading, or China Imports will be a plus
- Strong in Excel, Stock Management, and Data Analysis
- Smart, responsible, and able to plan independently
