We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Configuration Specialist to join our Implementation team. The selected candidate will work on the company platform, independently configuring Travel & Expense solutions for enterprise customers and driving implementation from requirement gathering through go live.

This role is ideal for candidates with hands-on experience in SaaS product configuration, business applications, change request implementation, and client technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities: -

- Independently configure expense policies, workflows, approval matrices, and other product settings on the Travel & Expense platform.
- Own master data configuration, including employees, cost centres, departments, grades, and other organisational data.
- Analyse business requirements and translate them into configuration documents and solution designs.
- Conduct thorough testing of configured workflows and policies, and troubleshoot configuration issues end-to-end.
- Lead UAT preparation, issue tracking, and resolution with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Perform data validation and Excel-based activities for large data sets.
- Maintain configuration and implementation-related documentation to a high standard.
- Coordinate with internal teams (Product, Support, Engineering) to resolve configuration-related requirements and clarifications.
- Drive go-live and post-go-live activities, including hypercare support, with minimal supervision.
- Mentor junior team members/interns on configuration best practices as needed.





Qualification & Experience: -
- 24 years of experience in product/software configuration, preferably in a SaaS or enterprise applications environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, BCA, BSc, or a related field.
- Strong working knowledge of SaaS product configuration and implementation cycles.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to independently troubleshoot configuration issues.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (formulas, data handling, bulk uploads).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with client-facing experience preferred.
- High attention to detail and ownership mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple client implementations in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

- Working knowledge of APIs and integrations.
- Working knowledge of JSON or other data formats.
- Prior experience with enterprise integrations such as HRMS, SSO, ERP, or SFTP.
- Knowledge of SQL or databases will be an added advantage.
- Prior experience in Travel & Expense, fintech, or similar SaaS domains is a plus.
