Role & responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end import & export operations, from shipment booking to final delivery/dispatch.

- Coordinate with international suppliers, customers, CHA, customs, ports, ICDs, shipping lines, and freight forwarders.

- Handle shipment planning, booking, vessel schedules, container movement, clearance, and delivery milestones.

- Prepare and verify import/export documentation, including invoices, packing lists, BL/AWB, shipping bills, certificates, and customs documents.

- Ensure accurate HS code classification, valuation, duty structure, and regulatory compliance.

- Follow up with suppliers/customers for shipment readiness, packing, labelling, documentation, and dispatch timelines.

- Coordinate for customs clearance, LEO, amendments, rollovers, schedule changes, and documentation discrepancies.

- Track shipments closely, resolve delays/issues proactively, and ensure on-time delivery and dispatch.

Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelors degree; preference for Logistics, Supply Chain, Commerce, or International Trade.

- 2–6 years of experience in Import & Export operations, preferably in chemicals,



specialty chemicals, pharma, or manufacturing.

- Hands-on experience with CHA, customs, ports, ICDs, shipping lines, and freight forwarders.

- Strong knowledge of import/export documentation, customs clearance, and shipment coordination.

- Extremely organised, detail-oriented, and disciplined in follow-ups and documentation.

- Excellent coordination skills with suppliers, customers, logistics partners, and external agencies.

- Proficient in MS Excel and basic ERP/accounting systems.

- Clear communication, solid ownership mindset, problem-solving ability, and execution focus.

- Ability to multitask and manage multiple shipments in a fast-paced environment.
