Immigration Domain Consultant — Product & Client Advisory

About the role

You will be the immigration authority inside our product organisation. Rather than managing a caseload, you will own the accuracy of the immigration logic that powers our platform, shape what we build next, and advise client mobility teams on how to run their programmes well.

This role suits someone with real depth in global immigration who is ready to apply that expertise at scale, influencing a product used by many organisations instead of handling cases one at a time.

What you will do

- Own immigration-domain accuracy across the product: workflows, eligibility rules, document requirements, forms, status models, and validations.
- Advise clients on process design, compliance posture, and industry best practice, helping them improve how their programme runs rather than replicating manual steps in software.
- Define and drive product enhancements based on regulatory change, client needs, and market movement, and maintain a prioritised domain backlog.
- Translate immigration processes into clear, structured requirements for Product, Engineering, and QA, marking where rules must stay configurable and where human or attorney judgment is required.
- Conduct domain and competitor research, and turn findings into actionable recommendations.
- Monitor regulatory developments across key jurisdictions and assess their impact on the product.
- Review user stories, acceptance criteria, and test cases for domain correctness.
- Support implementation, configuration workshops, UAT, training, and client adoption.





What you bring

- 6 to 8 years in global immigration, corporate immigration, or global mobility, including at least 4 to 5 years of hands-on casework across multiple jurisdictions with ownership of complex or escalated matters.
- Experience advising corporate mobility teams, HR, or business stakeholders on process, compliance, or programme structure.
- Strong knowledge of US employment-based categories including H-1B, L-1, O-1, TN, dependent categories, PERM and green card stages, and I-9 compliance.
- Rest of World coverage across at least two additional regions such as UK, EU, Canada, APAC, the Middle East, or LATAM, including business visas and work permits.
- The ability to explain an immigration process clearly and logically to a non-immigration audience, including engineers.
- Robust written communication, structured documentation, and analytical rigour.

Nice to have

- Experience with an immigration case management or mobility platform beyond end-user level, such as implementation, configuration, UAT ownership, or product input. Examples include INSZoom, LawLogix, Tracker, Envoy, AssignmentPro, Topia, Fragomen Connect, BAL Cobalt, EY Mobility Pathway, KPMG LINK, or Vialto myMobility.
- Involvement in a process automation, digitisation, or mobility transformation project.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery and working alongside product and engineering teams.
- Exposure to government digital systems such as USCIS organisational accounts, FLAG, the UK Sponsorship Management System, or the IRCC employer portal.
