Role Description This is a full time, on-site role based in Bengaluru for a Diamond & Gemology Faculty member. The faculty member will conduct classroom and laboratory sessions on diamond grading, gemstone identification, and related gemology topics, ensuring concepts are taught in a clear, practical, and engaging manner.

Responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, developing teaching materials, creating and evaluating assignments and examinations, and maintaining accurate student performance records. The role involves mentoring students on academic and career pathways,



supervising hands-on training using industry tools, and supporting study tours, workshops, and industry events. The faculty member will collaborate with the academic team to update curricula, align courses with current industry standards, and contribute to continuous improvement of teaching methodologies.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in gemology and industry trends.
- Candidates should possess strong Training skills, including classroom instruction, curriculum delivery, and student mentoring.
- Candidates should possess practical skills related to handling diamonds and gemstones, or an understanding of jewellery manufacturing processes.
- Formal education or certification in Gemology, Diamond Grading, or Jewellery Design from a recognized institute.
- Experience teaching or training in gems and jewellery, or significant industry experience that can be translated into classroom learning.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; additional regional language skills are an advantage.
- Ability to use basic digital tools for presentations, online resources, and academic documentation.
- Commitment to learner-centered teaching, ethical industry practices, and continuous professional development.
