Role Description This is a full-time, on-site ICP MS Chemist role based in Mumbai. The ICP MS Chemist will perform routine and specialized analyses using ICP-MS instrumentation, including sample preparation, method execution, and data interpretation for a wide range of materials.

Responsibilities include maintaining and calibrating instruments, implementing and documenting quality control procedures, and ensuring compliance with internal and external laboratory standards. The role involves collaborating with colleagues on research and development activities, optimizing methods, troubleshooting analytical issues, and preparing transparent reports and test certificates for clients.



The chemist will also follow safety protocols, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and support training of team members when required.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong laboratory skills and hands-on experience with ICP-MS operation, sample preparation, and laboratory safety practices.
- Candidates should possess solid quality control skills, including method validation, adherence to standard operating procedures, and accurate documentation of results.
- Candidates should possess excellent analytical skills for interpreting complex data sets, troubleshooting analytical problems, and ensuring reliable test outcomes.
- Candidates should possess research and development (R&D;) and research capabilities to support method development, process optimization, and technical investigations.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
- Experience in an ISO/IEC 17025 or similar accredited laboratory environment and familiarity with industry-specific regulatory requirements is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, on-site laboratory setting in Mumbai.
- Good written and verbal communication skills for preparing reports and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
