Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop and support integrations involving IBM DataPower and IBM Netezza.

- Work with Netezza databases for data extraction, loading, SQL development and performance tuning.

- Develop and maintain DataPower services, APIs and integration flows.

- Configure and troubleshoot DataPower XML/JSON, REST/SOAP and HTTP/HTTPS integrations.

- Work with authentication and security mechanisms such as SSL/TLS, certificates, encryption and API security.

- Develop and troubleshoot SQL queries, stored procedures and database interfaces in Netezza.

- Support integration between Netezza and downstream/upstream applications using APIs, JDBC/ODBC, ETL or middleware.

- Perform production support, incident troubleshooting, root-cause analysis and performance optimization.

- Monitor integration flows and resolve connectivity, transformation and data issues.





- Coordinate with application, database and infrastructure teams for deployment and production support.

Must-Have Skills

- Strong experience with IBM DataPower

- Robust experience with IBM Netezza / Netezza Performance Server

- REST/SOAP APIs

- XML, JSON, XSLT

- HTTP/HTTPS

- SQL and database concepts

- DataPower security, certificates and SSL/TLS

- API/integration troubleshooting

- Unix/Linux scripting

- Production support and incident management

- IBM DataStage

- ETL/data integration experience

- JDBC/ODBC

- IBM MQ

- API Gateway concepts

- Cloud/Azure/AWS exposure

- Netezza performance tuning and data loading

- Experience with nzsql / Netezza client tools
