We are looking for a passionate and experienced IBDP & CIE Mathematics Mentor to guide and mentor students following international curricula. The ideal candidate should have solid subject expertise and experience teaching IBDP and/or Cambridge International Education (CIE) Mathematics.
The candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, providing personalized academic mentoring, monitoring student progress, and preparing students for curriculum-specific assessments.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach and mentor students following IBDP and CIE Mathematics curricula.
- Plan and deliver engaging, concept-based and student-centered mathematics lessons.
- Develop students’ conceptual understanding, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Provide personalized academic support based on individual student needs.
- Prepare students for internal and external curriculum assessments and examinations.
- Support students with IBDP Mathematics Internal Assessment (IA), where applicable.
- Track and evaluate student progress and provide regular constructive feedback.
- Identify learning gaps and implement suitable intervention strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress.
- Collaborate with academic coordinators, teachers, and parents to support student development.
- Stay updated with curriculum changes, assessment requirements, and international teaching practices.
Eligibility To Apply
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience teaching or mentoring Mathematics at the senior-secondary level.
- Experience with IBDP and/or CIE Mathematics is required.
- Strong understanding of international curriculum frameworks and assessment patterns.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong mentoring and student-engagement abilities.
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to different learning styles and student needs.
