Job Summary To ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of Hydra/mobile cranes by carrying out preventive maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, repairs, and breakdown maintenance of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and related crane systems.

2. Key Responsibilities

- Carry out regular inspection and preventive maintenance of Hydra cranes as per the maintenance schedule.
- Diagnose and rectify mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and engine-related problems.
- Attend to crane breakdowns and ensure minimum downtime.
- Inspect and maintain hydraulic pumps, motors, cylinders, hoses, valves, oil tanks, and hydraulic systems.
- Maintain and repair crane engines, transmission systems, differentials, axles, brakes, steering systems, and suspension.
- Check and maintain electrical systems including batteries, alternators, starter motors, wiring, lights, sensors, and control systems.
- Inspect tyres, wheels, brakes, steering, and other undercarriage components.
- Check hydraulic oil, engine oil, coolant, transmission oil, brake oil, and other fluids and ensure timely replacement/top-up.
- Identify oil leaks, abnormal noises, vibrations, overheating, and other signs of equipment malfunction.
- Carry out welding/fabrication or coordinate with the concerned team for minor structural repairs, wherever required.
- Ensure proper lubrication and greasing of all applicable crane components.
- Assist in the inspection and testing of cranes before putting them into operation.
- Maintain proper records of preventive maintenance, breakdowns, repairs, spare parts, and service history.
- Coordinate with crane operators to understand operational issues and identify defects.
- Ensure all repaired cranes are tested for safe operation before handing them back to the operator.




- Maintain adequate stock of essential maintenance consumables and spare parts and inform the supervisor of replacement requirements.
- Follow manufacturer recommendations and company maintenance procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable safety procedures while carrying out maintenance work.
- Use appropriate PPE and ensure the maintenance area is kept clean and safe.
- Immediately report any safety-critical defect or condition that may affect crane operation.
- Support external service technicians and crane inspection agencies whenever required.
- Perform any other maintenance-related duties assigned by the reporting manager.

Qualifications Minimum: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.

6. Experience

- Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience in the maintenance and repair of Hydra cranes, mobile cranes, heavy vehicles, construction equipment, or similar heavy machinery.
- Experience in hydraulic systems and diesel engines is essential.
- Experience with Hydra/mobile crane maintenance will be preferred.

7. Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems and heavy equipment.
- Valuable knowledge of diesel engines and mechanical systems.
- Ability to diagnose mechanical and hydraulic faults.
- Basic knowledge of crane electrical systems.
- Ability to read and understand equipment manuals and maintenance instructions.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently during breakdown situations.
- Willingness to attend emergency breakdowns and work beyond normal working hours when required.
- Good coordination with crane operators and maintenance/operations teams.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
